(스톡홀름 2018년 4월 25일 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) Nasdaq First North에 상장된 스웨덴 기업 H&D Wireless AB[http://www.hd-wireless.com/ ]가 Scania로부터 추가 주문을 받았다. 이로 인해 Sodertalje에 있는 Scania 콘셉트 공장 스마트 공장 연구소의 H&D Wireless 실내 위치확인 시스템이 확장될 예정이다. 이 신규 주문을 통해 기능이 추가될 것이고, H&D Wireless는 선두 공급자의 장치를 통합해 GEPS 위치 시스템을 구축할 예정이다.

Scania는 2017년 6월에 H&D Wireless의 실내 위치확인 시스템 시제품을 주문했다. 이 시스템은 소위 실시간 위치확인 시스템(Real-Time Locating System, RTLS)이라고 부른다. 이 솔루션을 통해 트럭 생산계의 거인은 RTLS 기술을 시험적으로 활용해 생산 중인 제품과 공정을 더욱 잘 파악할 수 있게 됐다. Scania의 신규 주문으로 인해 H&D Wireless는 17개월간 GEPS 위치서비스, 선두 공급자 장치 통합 및 시험, 5G 통신 준비 및 상업적 시제품 가능성 파악 등을 위한 운영 계약을 체결하게 됐다.

H&D Wireless의 독점 솔루션인 산업용 GEPS(Griffin Enterprise Positioning Services)는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 설치를 통해 디지털화와 자동화를 관리한다. 이 시스템은 실제 공정을 디지털화하고 시각화하며, 자재, 생산 병목 지점, 자원 활용률, 예상치 못한 장비 고장 등을 라디오 위치확인 시스템과 인공지능(AI)을 통해 관리한다. 이 시스템의 최종 목표는 제조 비용을 절감하고, 제조 시간과 고정 자본을 줄이는 것이다. H&D Wireless는 일반적으로 이 시스템을 설치한 후 6개월 이내에 투자비용 이상의 비용 절감을 얻어낼 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.

New Order to H&D Wireless from Scania

- Additional pilot orders for RTLS-System to Scania Smart Factory

STOCKHOLM, April 25, 2018/PRNewswire/ -- H&D Wireless AB [http://www.hd-wireless.com/ ], a Nasdaq First North Listed Swedish company, gets additional orders from Scania. The pilot installedby H&D Wireless system for indoor positioning at Scania Concept Factory Smart Factory Lab in Sodertalje will be expanded. The new order means both additional functionality and for H&D Wireless to integrate leading supplier's toolsinto the positioning system called GEPS.

Scania ordered in June 2017 a pilot of H&D Wireless indoor positioning system - A so-called Real-Time Locating System (RTLS). The solution has meant that the truck giant has been able to evaluate the technology RTLS to get a better overview of processes and objects that are in production. The new order from Scania means an operating agreement of 17 Months from H&D Wireless for GEPS positioning service, integration and testing together with leading supplier's tools, preparation for 5G connection and the possibility of commercial piloting.

H&D Wireless proprietary solution GEPS for Industry (Griffin Enterprise Positioning Services) means that hardware and software are installed to manage digitalization and automation. The system digitizes and visualize physical processes and identifies, among other, management of materials, production bottlenecks, utilization rate of resources and unexpected machine interruptions by radio positioning and artificial intelligence (AI). The ambition is to reduce the cost of manufacturing, reduce lead times and tied-up capital. H&D Wireless estimates a payback period for the system of less than six months for a typical installation.
