이번 설치 작업의 세부 내용은 다음과 같다.
- KING IT 팀이 와이파이 네트워크를 설치했으며 이 네트워크는 방콕에 있는 또 다른 KING IT 팀이 cnMaestro™ 네트워크 관리 시스템[https://www.cambiumnetworks.com/products/management/cnmaestro/ ]을 사용하여 원격으로 관리했다.
- 두 개의 캠비움네트웍스 cnPilot e500 기업용 옥외 네트워크 엑세스포인트가 사용되었는데 그중 하나는 동굴 입구를 마주 보는 위치에 설치되었고 또 다른 엑세스포인트는 "정보 텐트"에 설치되었다.
- 네트워크 사용자들은 동굴 입구에 있는 태국 해군 특수부대, 구조 대원들과 여러 정부 기관 등 모두 약 50명에 달했다.
- 정보 텐트에 있던 약 200명의 사용자에는 실종 소년들의 직계 가족뿐만 아니라 미디어와 행정 요원들이 들어 있었다.

Cambium Networks: Thai Cave Rescue Demonstrates Benefits Of Rapidly Deployable Wi-Fi

This was recently demonstrated during the dramatic cave rescue in Thailand [https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-44791998 ], where 12 young boys and their soccer coach were trapped for two weeks, culminating in a rescue operation that captured the attention of the entire world. Thanks to the numerous emergency and military personnel, and volunteer experts, the "Wild Boars" soccer team and their coach were rescued.

In the recent incident in Thailand, wireless connectivity played a critical role in delivering reliable internet service that connected teams at the remote cave entrance, located more than 100 kilometers from Bangkok. Specific details of the implementation include:
- The KING IT team established the Wi-Fi network, and it was managed remotely by another KING IT team in Bangkok using the cnMaestro™ network management system [https://www.cambiumnetworks.com/products/management/cnmaestro/ ]
- Two Cambium Networks cnPilot e500 enterprise outdoor network access points were used; one was placed facing the entrance of the cave, while the other access point was placed at the "information tent"
- Users of the network included Thai Navy Seals, rescue teams and various government agencies, totalling approximately 50 users at the entrance of the cave
- At the information tent, approximately 200 users included the immediate family members of the lost boys, as well as media and administrative personnel

In this circumstance, as well as many others, emergency teams must establish operations very rapidly.
